Community members live in their own, architecturally designed houses (two and three bedrooms) or apartments (one, two and three bedrooms). Located on the northern boundary of the city, next to the beautiful Whangarei Falls, this outstanding village has a rural atmosphere while situated only seven minutes from the city centre.
At the Falls, community members enjoy a highly engaged lifestyle, with an extensive range of events and activities, many organised by the members themselves. There are quilting sessions, Tai Chi classes and, of course, the weekly “knit and knatter.” Saturday night movies and musical concerts light the big screen while swing dancing and card games brighten the evenings.
Ultimately, whether you fancy joining the Sunday golf trips, the village choir or one of the indoor bowls, snooker, table tennis or quiz night teams, you can expect to be welcomed into a vibrant and friendly group of people.
